In Transit, Members of the International Academy of Ceramics at the Indian Ceramics Triennale
The Indian Ceramics Triennale and Gallerie Nvya presented members of the International Academy of Ceramics at In Transit, Members of the International Academy of Ceramics at the Indian Ceramics Triennale in conjunction with its second iteration Common Ground, as a parallel exhibition. This idea proposed to the IAC, the premier Geneva based and UNESCO affiliated international organisation for ceramic art, was met with support. Artist and IAC member Adil Writer, coordinated this exhibition at the Shridharani Gallery at the Triveni Kala Sangam. The exhibition showcases over 50 works of IAC members from India and over 20 countries. There were an eclectic range of objects in this exhibition representing various streams of thought and technique, presented in the shared spirit of the International Academy of Ceramics and the Indian Ceramics Triennale and a bonding in clay.
A Pecha Kucha session with presentations by IAC artists was held on January 24th.
