Celebrating Clay I  REYAZ BADARUDDIN

JAN- DEC 2020

Indian Ceramics Triennale artist and curator Reyaz Badaruddin will participate in an international craft exchange residency at Gundiyali in Gujarat, with the local potter community and British artists as part of the British Council’s Crafting Futures - India - UK Collaboration programme. This project, Celebrating Clay: Generating new forms of cultural production for craft experiential tourism, aims to transform the Gundiyali craft cluster into the first-ever craft experiential tourism hub, creating opportunities for international artist exchange.

The project is a partnership between Design Innovation and Craft Resource (DICRC), CRDF, CEPT University, Ahmedabad, and The Clay Foundation and the British Ceramics Biennial, UK,  in collaboration with Manthan Educational Programme Society, the Institute of Indian Interior Designers and the Indian Ceramics Triennale.
